What do you need from us to get the app creation process started?


We don’t expect you to know what content or functionality your app should have—or even what you want it to have—when you come to us for help. Not only are we app developers, but we are here for you as a business resource. What we will need are your logo, brand colors and brand guidelines. We’ll also need information to get your Apple Store and Google Play accounts set up. Together, we’ll discuss ideas for what the app should be able to do and how you’d like your customers to be able to interact with it.




How long does an app take to get up and running?


Our developers are very detail-oriented, and our goal is to produce a high-quality end product that delivers the results you’re looking for. However, we understand a quick turnaround time is important, too! The answer to this question ultimately depends on your responsiveness and how complex the app content is, but building the app itself can take as little time as a week or may take up to a month. Getting listed in the Google Play store is a streamlined process. However, this process may be more complicated for the Apple Store, depending on your geographic location and what it takes to verify your business.




What does a "full-service" app entail?


Not only do we design your mobile app around your unique brand and content, we maintain the app over time, provide training for you to be able to use the tools if you so desire, and make any requested changes – all with your valuable input of course! Leveraging built-in analytics, our team provides yours with appropriate feedback and direction – pinpointing possible areas of improvement and opportunities for increased functionality and end user support. You’ll also have your own point of contact whom you can call or email anytime for assistance (it’s a lot more personal than submitting a ticket online, right?). Plus, we’ll send you a monthly snapshot of your app’s performance with any recommendations we have!




Do you help us market the app?


The short answer is: yes. We start by assessing your current communications strategy and work with you to create a marketing plan that will help you to efficiently get the word out to your customers. We also create custom promotional materials and provide content delivery instructions. You don’t need a designer; we handle that for you! As far as marketing collateral goes, we’ve found that tangible pieces (posters, hand-outs, stickers, etc.) work best. However, as marketing best practices evolve over time, so does our approach! Plus, we’ll pay attention to which marketing techniques are most effective for your unique business and audience. We’ve even asked for store location photos in the past to see how we could best use the retail space to promote the new app!




Can we enable push notifications?


Yes, TouchPoint Studio enables you to schedule native OS push notifications ahead of time or use them to quickly communicate important messages to your app users. Engaging with your customers digitally (and more frequently!) through these notifications ultimately drives more business and cultivates brand loyalty. Also note that in addition to creating your own push notifications, we have industry-specific samples from which you can choose to get started with this feature.
